About Us
A1 Hunts offers some of the best pheasant hunting, grouse hunting, whitetail hunting, mule deer hunting, antelope hunting, prairie dog hunting and turkey hunting in South Dakota.  If you like action and excitement in your hunting, then we have a hunt for you. Whether archery or rifle hunting is your specialty,  Deer hunters can expect to see a lot of bucks during the hunting season. These will be a spot and stalk hunt in open country, making for an exciting day in the field. With our great population of Merriam Turkeys, you are sure to have a fun and successful hunt. With over 20,000 private acres to hunt, you're sure to see lots of game. We manage our property and only allow a few hunters per year to ensure a great hunt. Land Available
We have over 20,000 acres of CRP, creek bottom land, cat tail sloughs, tree strips, prairie grass, and Milo, millet, and corn fields. 

Game Offered
Pheasant: $200 per day including guide, dogs and field lunch.
$275 includes lodging, guide, dogs and meals.
Sharp-tail Grouse: $200 per day including guide, dogs and field lunch.
$275 includes lodging, guide, dogs and meals.
Prairie Chicken: $200 per day includes guide, dogs and field lunch.
$275 includes lodging, guide, dogs and meals.
Hungarian Partridge: Bonus birds with pheasant hunt!
Rifle Deer: 4 days hunting with 5 nights lodging, meals, guide, field dressing, and field transportation, for $3,000. This hunt is stand hunting in morning and evening and spotting and stalking in the afternoon. You can expect to see white tail in the 140 - 170 and mule deer in the 150 – 190 class. These tags are on a draw, and we have 90% success on the hunt.
Archery Deer: 5 day 6 nights, stand hunting in morning and evening and spotting and stalking in the afternoon. This package includes lodging, meals, guide, field dressing game and to and from field transportation for $2,500. Archery deer tags are guaranteed ($195) in South Dakota and you can shoot a mule deer or white tail.
Archery Antelope: 4 day 5 nights fully guided with lodging, blinds, transportation to and from the field, field dressing game and meals $1,550. This hunt has been 100% success in the past 4 years. Archery antelope tags are guaranteed ($195 for a single tag and $245 for a buck and doe, we let you shoot a doe for free) in South Dakota.
Unguided Archery Antelope: 4 day 4 nights, includes lodging, land and bail blinds. This package starts at $1,050, call for details. This hunt has been 100% opportunity with 90% success in the past 4 years. Archery antelope tags are guaranteed ($195 for a single tag and $245 for a buck and doe, we let you shoot a doe for free) in South Dakota.
Prairie Dog: $250 day includes lodging, continental breakfast, field lunch, dinner, guide and shooting benches. $225 day includes lodging, benches and guiding. $200 day includes lodging and a guided hunt. $175 day includes guide, benches, bags and field lunch. $150 day includes guided prairie dog hunt. License fee is $40 and non shooting guests are $50 day. Camping spots with full hookups available fo $30 day. Call for details.
Turkey: $850 includes semi-guide and lodging. This is a 3 day 3 night hunt and includes 2 turkeys. $1,250 for a 3 day and 3 nights fully guided Merriam turkey hunt. This package includes lodging, meals, 2 birds, decoys, blinds, field transportation and cleaning and freezing your trophy. License is $100 for a double tag and we can guarantee tags. Buffalo: Trophy buffalo hunt for a 7 to 10 year old bull for $3,500. Two year old bull for $2,250 and cow hunt for $1,750. This hunt includes 2 days and 3 nights lodging, guiding, meals, field dressing and help getting your trophy to the locker.

Lodging
The lodge is located on a beautiful setting overlooking the badlands terrain of south central South Dakota. Currently under construction, when done this lodge will be equipped with 6 rooms, pool table, darts, fosse ball, bar, hot tub, big screen TV with a spacious lounge area. Non hunting guests are $100 per person and include lodging and meals.
Cabins are available to stay in also, these are very relaxing off in there own setting overlooking the barking prairie dogs.  One cabin can sleep 5 and are fully furnished. Non hunting guests are $50 per person.
Camping spots are available with full water, elec. hookups for $30 day.

Meals
The meals will be catered, on own or home cooked, depending on group size and package.

Transportation
Airport pickup in Rapid City, Pierre, Sioux Falls can be arranged, call for pricing
Guided hunts will include field transportation.
