About Us
Here at Dakota Sportsman and East River Guide Service I have enjoyed the great outdoors and have been hunting and fishing most of my life. I spend a great deal of time on the water as a professional guide, in tournament fisherman or just pleasure fishing. I am also involved with, and encourage children's fishing programs.
I participate in outdoor shows, promoting fishing and the equipment needed for a successful outing. I also enjoy building custom rods and repairing all types of rods for clients.
In the fall of the year, I spend an equal amount of time in the field as a professional guide for pheasant or waterfowl hunting. Like fishing, I am also in the fields for my own pleasure at times.

Land Available
8,000 acres of corn, sorghum, Milo, CRP, food plots, tree strips, grassland, shelter belts, clover and chickery.

Game Offered
Pheasant: Packages are 4 nights lodging and 3 days of hunting, three meals each day, transportation to and from the field and bird processing. Licenses and adult beverages are not included.

Package #1 $1,200 / person beginning the third weekend in October through the first week in November.

Package #2 $1,100 / person beginning the second week of November through the first week in December.

Package #3 $1,000 / person beginning the second week of December through the close of the season.

Day hunts are available for $150 - $200 / person per day depending on number of hunters in the group.

Hungarian Partridge: Included with your pheasant hunting package.
Sharp-tail Grouse: Included with your pheasant hunting package.
Duck & Goose: great fully guided waterfowl hunting, this can be a
combination hunt with pheasants, call for pricing.
Archery Deer: Archery deer hunts for mule or whitetail starting at $1,500,
lodging, transportation and meals are included. This is a 4 day
hunt.
Rifle Deer: Packages start at $1,500, call for details. Excellent opportunity to
harvest that deer of a lifetime. This is a 3 day hunt.
Turkey: Merriam turkey hunts are $1,500 call for details. We hunt a double tag
Unit, included is lodging, meals, and guide for 3 days and 4 nights.
Fishing: $1,300 for 2 people for 4 nights and 3 days includes boat, meals, guide and tackle. Call for other pricing and packages.

Meals are included, local restaurants.

Transportation
To and from the fields. Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged also.
