About Us
Grass Lake Hunting Retreat offers great hunting in a relaxed atmosphere. They offer pheasant, geese, duck and deer hunting. It is located thirty minutes southwest of Aberdeen near Mansfield, South Dakota. The natural habitat of grasslands, shelter belts, sloughs and cornfields contribute to the excellent population of wild pheasants. The two lakes in the area also provide excellent habitat for geese and duck hunting. Grass Lake Hunting Retreat sits in the middle of the central North American Flyway. Thousands of ducks and geese come to the two lakes. One of their guides has lived and hunted this land for nearly 45 years. They are committed to providing the best hunt.

Land Available
One thousand acres of corn, Milo, food plots, tree strips, grassland, shelter belts, millet strips and sloughs

Game Offered
Pheasant:  $225 per day per hunter.  Includes continental breakfast, noon lunch, guide and lodging.
$175 per day per hunter. Includes contenental breakfast, field lunch and lodging, this is an unguided hunt.
Deer:  $150 per day per hunter and $50 per point trophy fee.
Spring Snow Geese:  $175 per day per hunter, guide and lodging included.  Please call for details.
Ducks:  Please call for details.   

*Lodging at the hunt site is on an as available basis. All other lodging is not included in our Daily Rates.

Lodging
We have room for a few people to stay at the retreat otherwise you will stay at one of Aberdeen's finest hotels.
Campers and RV's are welcome.

Meals
Snacks and beverages will be provided in the field. Other meals can be made at the fully furnished lodge or at the excellent restaurants in the area.

Transportation
Transportation is provided to and from airport, hotel or lodge and hunting grounds.
