About Us:

The Cheyenne River Ranch is a working ranch with cattle, horses, and bison.  The ranch has been in the family for many generations and has been mostly unchanged for hundreds of years.  Luke Farlee, who operates the ranch, also loves hunting and the outdoors.  He has intimate knowledge of the land which ensures you will have great opportunities to get within range of your prey.  His experience will greatly enhance your hunt at the ranch.  The Cheyenne River Ranch has also been featured in several episodes of “Blue Collar Adventures” television show.

Land Available

Over 23,000 acres of rolling prairie, hay fields, river bottom, and wooded draws.

Game Offered

Sharp-tail Grouse and Prairie Chicken:  $175 for unguided hunt; guiding, lodging, meals, and transportation can be arranged.  Contact Eric at 605-949-0960 for rates and availability.

White-tail Deer and Mule Deer:  $1,500 for 4 day hunt which includes guiding.  Lodging, meals, and transportation can be arranged.  Contact Eric at 605-949-0960 for rates and availability.

Pronghorn Antelope:  $1,500 for semi-guided 4 day hunt.   Guiding, lodging, meals, and transportation can be arranged.  Contact Eric at 605-949-0960 for rates and availability.

Buffalo:  Trophy bull (7-10 year old) is currently $3,500, meat bull or cow is currently $2,500.  This hunt includes guiding, transportation in the field, and animal recovery assistance.  Lodging and meals can be arranged, contact Eric at 605-949-0960 for rates and availability.

Prairie Dog:  $150 per person per day for land access.  Guiding, lodging, meals and transportation can be arranged.  Contact Eric at 605-949-0960 for rates and availability.

Lodging:

We can arrange lodging at a local motel (22 miles).  You are also welcome to bring your camper or RV for no additional charge.
