About Us
Clay and Holly Schaack, owners and operators of Rockin' S Ranch, would like to invite you out for some of the most fantastic hunting you will ever experience. Located just south of Wall, SD, they are in the middle of a wildlife haven. Rolling prairie, cropland, river bottom, deep draws, and buttes provide excellent habitat for sharp-tail grouse, whitetail deer, mule deer, turkey, antelope, prairie dogs, coyote, and fox. They are located just a short drive away from the Badlands National Park, and just one hour away from the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, and Custer State Park and all of the attractions within the Black Hills area. Their ranch is a working cattle and horse ranch that maintains their South Dakota values and roots.

Land Available
4,200 acres of tree strips, grassland, shelter belts, river bottom, draws and coulees.

Game Offered
Sharptail Grouse: Free with deer hunting.
Rifle Deer: $3,000 for a five day hunt, only 3 hunters a year, hunt includes land access and this is a semiguided hunt.
Archery Deer: $3,000 for a five day hunt. Call for details.
Turkey: $1,000 for three days of hunting, two turkey tag unit. Only 10 hunts available.
Antelope: $1,200 for a three day hunt, includes land access and this hunt is semiguided. Only four antelope hunts a year.
Prairie Dogs: $150 per day per person
Coyote: $50 per day per person, or free with deer hunting

Lodging
Only 7 miles away is Wall, we can make arrangements to have you stay at Ann's Motel.

Meals
Meals are on your own, but Wall, SD is just a few miles away and has a variety of restaurants.

Transportation
Transportation is provided to and from the fields for some packages.
