About Us
SD Bison Hunts is located outside of Faith, SD just
100 miles northeast of Rapid City, SD. As a family, we enjoy having visitors.  We enjoy showing you around the ranch and listening to your description of life in your part of the world.  Our lives have been greatly enriched by the new friends that we have made during the past 5 hunting seasons.  We look forward to seeing many old friends and getting acquainted with new friends in the upcoming months.

Land Available
We have 15,000 acres where most hunts take place in one of our 2000-3000 acre hunt areas.  In addition to wide open prairie, we have a very beautiful canyon called "Cedar Canyon" that runs through our property. Cedar Canyon is home to a great variety of wild life. Hunters coming to our ranch enjoy some of the best deer hunting in western South Dakota. Hundreds of wild Merriam Turkeys make our ranch their home. Prairie dogs are also present in large quantities.

Buffalo hunts include 2 days and 2 nights lodging, 2 meals per day (Hot Breakfast, Home Cooked Supper) .  We take you out on foot, stalk, and then you can choose any bull you see.  Field dressing, skinning, and quartering is an additional $200.  Mule Deer or White Tail Deer: This is a 3 day 3 night hunt for $1,500. This package includes 2 meals per day (Hot Breakfast, Home Cooked Supper)and lodging for 3 nights. Book early!  Only a limited number of animals.
Antelope: 3 day 3 nights for $1200, this hunt includes 2 meals per day (Hot Breakfast, Home Cooked Supper), lodging, land and guide.  Book early!  Only a limited number of animals.
Turkey: 2 day 2 night semi guided hunt for $600, this hunt includes 2 meals per day (Hot Breakfast, Home Cooked Supper), lodging and access to 15,000 acres. This is a 2 bird hunt.
Prairie Dog: $200 day includes 2 meals (Hot Breakfast, Home Cooked Supper), lodging and hunting on 6,000 private acres, bring plenty of shells.

Lodging
Although we do not have a lodge, we do offer lodging in our home for any hunters that come to our ranch. In addition we enjoy guests who are looking for an out-of-the-ordinary lodging experience. We can accommodate up to 12 people. The guest rooms are not fancy or elegant, but they are clean with a private bathroom in a smoke free, alcohol free environment.
