Section 17 Hunting Preserve

About Us:
Come and experience true excitement hunting pheasant in North Dakota. We have a large number of wild birds that will truly get your heart pumping when they flush. We harvested over 1,400 birds in 2005. We are located close to Fargo-Moorhead to provide an abundance of nightly entertainment, yet are far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Warm up the shoulder by shooting on our trap range for free before the hunt.

Land Available:
We hunt in grass, scattered trees, water ponds, corn, sunflower, creek bottom, cattails, and sorghum strips.

Game Offered:
Pheasants: $100/day for 4 birds. $20 per bird after four birds. Guide and dog for $45 extra.  No license required.  Hunt from September 1st to March 31st.   This hunt makes a great addition while traveling through to go duck hunting.  **Meals can be catered for extra charge.

Lodging:
Two hotels are located within 15 miles.

Located four miles off Interstate 94.
